LIQUID.LATEX.DISCO.DADDY. unfolds like a late-night memory you can’t quite shake. It doesn’t rush to impress—it pulls you in slowly, surrounding you with textures that feel soft, dark, and strangely intimate. This isn’t just a remix album; it’s a reimagined emotional space where echoes of the past are reshaped into something more physical and immediate.

The warmth of his earlier work gives way here to something more shadowed. The beats feel heavier, the basslines stretch and bend, and there’s a quiet tension running through even the most danceable moments. It captures that feeling of being alone in a crowded room, lost but not entirely uncomfortable. Every track feels placed with care, building a mood that lingers rather than explodes.

His ongoing creative bond with Red Man Runs adds a sense of continuity that grounds the record. There’s a natural flow between them, especially on “WHAT’S HIS NAME?”, which opens the album with a subtle sense of mystery. “(TRIP) UNRAVELLING” stands out not because it’s louder but because it feels more exposed, like a moment of honesty in the middle of the haze. Even the collaboration with DJ DUTY blends in without breaking the mood.

The rework of Sheryl Crow’s “There Goes the Neighborhood” is unexpected, but it fits the world Kane is building. Nothing here feels forced. The album doesn’t try to revisit the past, it reshapes it into something that feels alive in the present.
