I gave Milyam’s “Intimacy” a few listens, and it really grew on me the more I sat with it. The first thing I noticed was how calm and late-night it feels, it’s not loud or attention-grabbing, but it pulls you in slowly. It’s the kind of track I’d put on when everything’s quiet and I just want something smooth in the background that still has feeling.
Her voice is probably my favorite part. It’s soft, but there’s a certain confidence in it that keeps it from fading into the production. It feels personal, like she’s singing close rather than trying to project outward. I liked how she didn’t overdo anything vocally—no unnecessary runs or big moments, just staying true to the mood of the song.

The production is simple, but it works. There’s a lot of space in the track, and that actually makes it more interesting. The instrumental doesn’t try to steal the spotlight, it just supports the vocals and builds that epic vibe. I caught a few small details in the background on repeat listens, which made me appreciate it more.
“Intimacy” feels like a song that knows exactly what it wants to be. It’s not trying to be a mainstream hit, it’s more about mood and feeling. I respect that. It left me curious about Milyam as an artist, because there’s clearly a style she’s building, and I think it could really connect with the right audience.
