DJ Cards go full throttle into the euphoric dancefloor territory with “Electric Detour’ an original single that’s all about just going with it and letting the music take you wherever it wants to go. It’s a very melodic track with a very infectious sense of movement, absolutely full of the spirit of dance music. It’s a very playful track which gives it a very welcoming feel, the whole thing is very much about having a good time, being free and just getting lost in the music.

One of the track’s hallmarks is the way it manages to achieve such a seamless connection between the melodic quality and the very much dancefloor-oriented feel. The instrumental approach is all about the electronics, the melodies and the rhythm being the driving force. There’s a real sense of fun in the way the various elements are brought together which is very much in keeping with the song’s fundamental message of just having a go and enjoying yourself. It’s a track that comfortably straddles the line between uplifting EDM and euphoric club.

Blends some very uplifting trance with a definite dance floor presence. Has some very memorable instrumental hooks which give it a real identity, a real thread to follow. The driving rhythm is there and it’s a very much a track that you want to be moving to. It doesn’t just rely on intensity, the melodic direction is very accessible and that’s what keeps it so enjoyable. The euphoria is definitely the key element of the track.

“Electric Detour” gets the simple joy of dance music absolutely spot on with a production that’s all about the melody, the groove and the positive vibes. The instrumental is very much in the ‘catchy’ school of thought and is designed to be accessible to the listener who likes their electronic music to have a real sense of movement and a good melodic hook. It’s a very enjoyable track which in equal measure is trancey and dancefloor oriented, and you can’t help but want to get moving from start to finish.
