Erickoscars when he works on Dime Que Si shows the attitude of an artist who is extending his creative process. Instead of sticking to a single established style, the project shows a diverse background drawn from a wide range of genres such as country, pop, ballads, salsa, merengue, bachata, flamenco, vallenato, reggaeton, and mariachi. This variety offers a significant context for understanding the album, especially since the artist sees songwriting as a chance to convey something meaningful.

The project’s creative process is just as important. Recently Erickoscar has started using music-production software, which has enabled him to experiment with various styles, tempos, vocals, instruments, and arrangements as he works on his recordings. His responsibilities go beyond just writing songs; he is actively taking part in shaping the way his ideas come together. Referred to as an amateur producer who enjoys bringing music to life, he sees the technology as yet another means of experimentation.

There is a clear link between the album and ERICKOSCAR’s belief that music is able to make an emotional impact on people; he views music as a thing that can touch the soul and inspire its listeners, a notion which helps to explain Dime Que Si. The project arises from an artist who regards the message of a song as important and considers songwriting to be more than just the combination of sounds.

The project presents ERICKOSCAR as both a seasoned songwriter and an artist who is investigating new possibilities via production. Although his background with the acoustic guitar still forms a significant element in his creative history, his transition to using music-production software has led to a new phase in his artistic growth. Dime Que Si thus reflects a continuous creative journey, combining personal songwriting, a variety of stylistic influences, and an active involvement in the production process.
