Silvana Estrada is preparing to release her second studio album, Vendrán Suaves Lluvias, next month. Ahead of its arrival, she’s unveiled the record’s final preview: a track titled “Good Luck, Good Night,” which she also produced herself.
In describing the song, Estrada explained that it was written from a place of pain but infused with humor as a coping mechanism. She called it both a delirium and a release—“a heartbreak song in every sense.” It was the last piece she wrote for the album, one that she says quietly signaled the end of a friendship. “The truth is, not every story has a clean ending,” she shared. “Some breakups remain heavy and unresolved. But in that darkness, humor appears, like a guard dog that stays by your side.”
Vendrán Suaves Lluvias arrives October 17 and follows Estrada’s acclaimed 2022 debut, Marchita. Alongside “Good Luck, Good Night,” the tracklist features “Como un Pájaro”—recently nominated for Best Singer-Songwriter Song at the 2025 Latin Grammy Awards—as well as “Lila Alelí,” “Dime,” and “No Te Vayas Sin Saber.”
