Mobb Deep Announce New Album Infinite, Share New Song “Against the World”

The inaugural project from the legendary hip-hop pair following Prodigy’s 2017 death.

Mobb Deep are set to return with their first album in over a decade. Titled Infinite, the project arrives October 10 and serves as the follow-up to 2014’s The Infamous Mobb Deep. The record spans 15 tracks and opens with “Against the World,” produced by Havoc.

This marks the group’s first full-length release since the passing of Prodigy in 2017. It also stands as his second posthumous appearance, following the 2022 release of The Hegelian Dialectic 2: The Book of Heroine.

Speaking about the new album, Havoc reflected on the project’s weight and legacy. “This feels like a full-circle moment,” he said. “It’s classic Mobb Deep—raw, uncompromising, and true to the sound that defined us, while still resonating with the current pulse of hip-hop.”

Following the release of Infinite, Havoc will take Mobb Deep’s legacy back on the road with a major co-headlining tour alongside Wu-Tang Clan veteran Raekwon. The run kicks off just a month after the album drops and will serve not only as a platform to showcase new material, but also as a tribute to the past. Central to the tour is a celebration of the 30th anniversary of The Infamous, Mobb Deep’s groundbreaking 1995 sophomore record that cemented the duo’s reputation as architects of gritty, New York street rap.

The Infamous remains a cornerstone of hip-hop history, blending Havoc’s haunting, minimalist production with Prodigy’s hard-hitting lyricism. Tracks like “Shook Ones, Pt. II” and “Survival of the Fittest” became generational anthems and helped define the East Coast sound during one of rap’s most competitive eras. Now, three decades later, Havoc is honoring that legacy onstage while also carrying the Mobb Deep name into a new chapter without his late partner.

The upcoming tour will give fans the rare chance to revisit those classics in a live setting, while also hearing fresh cuts from Infinite. Pairing with Raekwon—another artist whose career shaped the golden age of ’90s hip-hop underscores the enduring influence of that era and its continued impact on today’s music culture.
