Amaarae Brings Black Star to North America With New Tour Dates

Following the recent release of her latest album Black Star, Ghanaian American artist Amaarae is set to hit the road for a limited run of North American shows. Dubbed The Black Star Experience, the tour will make stops this November and December in four major cities: New York, Toronto, Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles.

Amaarae’s new project has been anchored by standout singles like “S.M.O.” and “Girlie-Pop!,” while the fan-favorite track “Fineshyt” arrived with its own music video on release day. The singer has also been making waves in the U.S. performance circuit—she recently delivered a powerful rendition of “Fineshyt” on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, marking her late-night television debut.

With Black Star, Amaarae continues to cement her reputation for blending bold sonics with striking visuals. The record builds on the acclaim of her 2023 effort Fountain Baby, which was ranked No. 20 in The 100 Best Albums of the 2020s So Far.
