Ker’s original single “Love To You All” extends the narrative of a steadily rising independent artist whose journey began with “Wōndering on Giants” in December 2025 and continued through the debut album Converging Paths. Since that first release, a growing audience across more than 70 countries has engaged with his work, drawn to his thoughtful approach and evolving sound.
Born in Edinburgh and later based in London, Ker built a career in marketing with leading British, American, German and French companies spanning coffee, whisky, and premium champagne sectors. In 2014, a visit to a music store in Kalispell, Montana marked a turning point, leading to guitar lessons and collaboration with local musicians. This environment encouraged development in song construction, transforming personal poems into structured writing supported by guitar work.
Influences drawn from music of the mid 1960s to mid 1970s inform a style shaped by melody-driven composition and rhythmic structure, supported by study in music theory and piano practice. Ker’s work aims for outward-looking and upbeat expression, seeking connection through accessible themes. “Love To You All” takes inspiration from an autobiographical account of the First World War, reimagined as a letter from a young soldier reflecting hope, affection, and longing in harsh conditions.
Following the debut album Converging Paths, Ker continues to expand his catalogue, with three additional tracks prepared for release and a second album already written. A return to the studio is scheduled for August, with the first new recording planned for next spring. The project reflects a sustained commitment to creative growth, shaped by experience, collaboration, and continuous refinement. There is a clear intention to connect with listeners across diverse regions, offering songs intended to be enjoyed and revisited.
